To create a drop down menu:
Create a menu. (appearance/menus) Then add your pages in the menu, you can add posts and categories.
Once you have what you want in menu you can arrange them as you wish by drag and drop.
For the submenu drag under parent and move it slightly to right.
If you’d like a “grandchild” do the same under the child.
Once you”ve arranged your menu make sure you select your menu from drop down in top left box and save.
Save Menu and you now have sub menus on your website.
